:Hulk Hogan You FD Up: You can not be mad with anyone but McGruder
Many authors have deals where they have creative control and final say on scripts, and are executive producers
If he sold the rights than its on him ..don't blame Sony because if a studio purchases a property their job is to produce content to make profit

To be honest, it hasn't really been that good since Season 1 anyway, so whatever.

Seasons 2 & 3 focused almost entirely on fukkery from Granddad/Riley/Ruckus, to the exclusion of almost everybody else. And the show really isn't that "conscious" anyway, 90% of the time it was just making fun of black culture. While that's fine, he focused so much on criticizing black culture that it bordered on just plain bashing it.

But I'll watch anyway, maybe some new writers will make things interesting. And I swear, if Caesar still doesn't appear.. :wtb:

faaaack...this sucks....right?

how much involvement did McGruder really have in the actual content of the shows in the first 3 seasons though? i know he is the creator, but did he oversee writing & all too?

Yeah, this seasons gonna suck. Apperantly, Thugnificient wont be apart of the cast either :snoop:

To be honest, I don't care that much about Thugnificent. I'm just hoping they give Uncle Ruckus a break and focus more on Huey (and maybe bring in Caesar).

Plus Thugnificent basically already had his character arc, as of Season 3 he's retired from rap and working a 9-5, so I dunno what else they could do with him. :manny:

The thing is that, the show is already limited in its cast. There arent many side characters to begin with and the ones that do exist have minimal screen presence so to remove one that had the most prominence seems like a bad move. It makes the whole show feel unorganized when you give a build a character, give dude a certain amount of screen time then after a certain point you never see em again without explanation.

Excuse me my "nikkaz" but don't you realize you been conditioned into being a :3cept:
Comments like these mang...

As if it wasn't that already :usure:

So previous seasons where not mad disrespectful :wtf:
Ain't nobody learning any "lessons" from watching the Boondocks. Its c00nery in cartoon form
Was funny, had some creative funnyman talent behind it.
But for the same reasons why Chappelle left Comedy Central, this show was even worse
Not sure if you new age naggaz realize it, probably don't :manny:

Huey is a front, a character in a minstrel show bruh
This is the stuff they like to make fun of, while c00nz be like "Yo, dis a lesson in dis my nikkaz"
Oh really :rudy:
Aight, lesson time children.
Here's the real version

^^^ Oh, so the police want to get him into the system so they can get him the help he needs :stopitslime: ^^^

Well it seems they were really on top of thangs. Sad story, really sad.
Hey lets make a joke out of it.. I'm sure there is a real lesson if we make fun of it.. then end it like Juice
That will make the youth think :tu:

What you should be thinking about his how that very same week, this happened...

Two 7-Year-Old Boys, Two Dramatically Different News Stories (VIDEO)

^^^ I just taught you way more than Aaron did. All he did was make a joke out of it :snoop: ^^^

So lets makes jokes then..

Hilarious, maybe Aaron can make a cameo and produce one last episode :blessed:
:3cept: :3cept: :3cept:

Prolific posting. I think the Boondocks was littered with c00nery but ever now and then it dropped an episode with a message but those were few and far between. I mentioned the episode about the Itis...that had a few messages in it in regards to changing the way we eat (because the way we use to eat was a survival mechanism, not a culture) and also it spoke on how neighborhoods are gentrified. Drop the property value (with violence and substance abuse) and then buy property at a cheap rate. The episode started with the Bank dude wanting to buy the Park but he couldn't buy it...until the property value dropped.

I just looked at that link that you provided. Its crazy I had no idea about the white kid who stole a car. Yeah, people treated both situations COMPLETELY different.

Crazy.
