Microsoft pulled multiple games off playstation deep into development cause they wanted them to be exclusive. Ironically they are the ones considered to be multiplatform.
But sonys hands were tied, they had no choice but to invest 4 billion into making xbox games.

Sony deserves more, they are an amazing and innovative company that shouldnt be losing any money. If they would just meet in the middle, they could profit on other platforms as well... you could even lease out 1-2 exclusives for 6 month deals on gamepass... and then after 6 months take the shyt off and put 2 more on. That way you still claim exclusive title while still expanding your business. Nintendo and Microsoft are good financially, you cant nosedive Playstation when its what makes your wheels turn.
