PS5 is coming a LOT sooner than most people think....Sony is done with the PS4...PS4 is a year away from being a 'legacy' platform

man I just bought ps4 pro...smh ah well there is a ton of games I ain't play at all. I'll get a new gen system 3 yrs in when most of the games have come out

It is a big gap of time but PS4 is hitting it's Apex right now. I think it still has 3 more years until it starts to decline in terms of quality and demand. Not saying the ps5 won't be out for another 3 years, but I think Sony could ride it out for longer while still developing the ps5.

They don't have games for another three years. No reason for them to just kill their momentum when they can drop the PS5 and continue to dominate the market.

Unless Sony is actually part funded the game, there is little incentive for third parties to make exclusive games this late in the generation. It made more sense at the start of the gen when players were starving for any kind of release.

Third party exclusives in general are basically a thing of the past.

With consoles and pcs all being similar in architecture it makes things easier and cheaper to port.

Yes their is exceptions like when Sony,Nintendo or Microsoft pays for the game to get made and it wouldn't exist otherwise but now it's more about exclusive dlc,timed releases and marketing deals.

PS4 naturally extended the product cycle, same with one x. You'll. Probably see it come out holiday 2020 at the earliest.

Any type of supply chain issue could easily push it back to 2021.

It’s showing LOU2, Spider-Man and Death Stranding..my 3 most anticipated games outside of RDR2, which will also probably be shown, so I couldn't care less about it lacking in new reveals, that’s more than good enough for me.
