Come on, man. You are being dishonest. There is a wide difference between developing your *own* AAA title and assisting in porting over a AAA title.
Maybe, but at the end of the day, they were being contacted to port big triple A games for PC for a reason, and Sony bought them to do the same on there big triple a games.

So that's not a triple A development studio why?

If you translate a novel to another language does that you an author?

Maybe they might become one but porting other studios AAA games doesn’t make them a AAA studio.

No but if you only got contacted to translate big projects that would make you a triple A translator. Development has so many parts, and there is a reason a lot of PC port work is Outsourced. When 90 percent of your work is development on a PC which isn't copy and paste and 90 percent of the games you work on are Triple A games then you are a triple A development team aka studio you can be triple A and majority support. They have a long his of work in Triple a games, its not like this just started.

All this debating in this thread and you agree with me? :dwillhuh: Sony buys smaller Triple A studio's. I'm not sure what this article is suppose to prove.

Already this year PlayStation has announced it's dating three new companies in Haven Studios,Firewalk Studios and Deviation Games. These are completely new AAA developers that nobody had heard of before they'd partnered with Sony, but the talent behind them have created games like Assassin's Creed, Destiny and Call of Duty.

They are triple A studios because sony is giving them triple A budgets. Let’s pretend thats the same as buying actual studios that have put out games :mjlol:

You linked the article as some sort of co sign and it clearly speaks on Sony dating more small Triple A studio's before buying them.
