Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
just got a bunch of ja rule youtube recommendations after watching some murder inc documentary...outside of jay-z's remix to 'always on time,' i didn't even know these promo alternative versions existed...all from this channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiTt6bGU4hunuUKwRK7OY9Q/videos there are more rare promo/alt/original sample versions on his channel but these stood out

is there an untagged version of this? some dude on nicotine named MZA is sharing a bunch of murder inc promo vinyl rips but they are private files...

The version i found was boosted from 92kpbs, not sure if there's a better quality version

the dirty version of this still hits

the original sample was weird and im glad they changed it up

on nicotine, the user MZA had a bunch of alternative promo vinyl rips like 'suburb' vs 'street' vs 'call out' mixes but they are private so idk what the differences are

"Former hip-hop executive Chaz Williams attempted to adapt Goines’ Black Gangsters into a film. While the film didn’t come to fruition, the movie’s soundtrack sold 150,000 copies. Famed drug kingpin Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff saw success in bringing Goines’ novel Crime Partners to DVD in 2001. The film starred Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, Laz Alonzo, and Cliffton Powell. The movie’s soundtrack was set to be released through Blackhand Entertainment/Murder Inc., however a federal case against Supreme and Murder Inc. deaded the project."

This is the "Black Gangster" Soundtrack they're referring to:
Various - Black Gangster - Original Soundtrack
props, I thought he said there was a soundtrack because they said he paid Supreme for the movie and the soundtrack on the doc -- must have been another soundtrack, and there are random songs on the movie like with DMX, etc. lol, the songs wasn't even mentioned in the credits

The first Tru-Life stuff I'm aware of was a Comp someone dropped in '04 called Ghetto Inmates (which also was the name of his people he was rapping with at the time.)

Same Shyt Different Day is still up there.
