The difference between you and I is I'm smart enough to understand that the world is bigger than me as my family. Just because I was raised a certain way doesn't mean that most blacks were. If someone black is with someone Hispanic....the same issues come up....same if the person is Asian, Indian or Middle Eastern. There's this automatic worry if the family will be "accepting" of he black partner, but not the other way around.

sadly true, a lot of blacks are very open (which isn't a problem) but many of them will even pride themselves in interracial dating or applaud others.

Has anyone realised its always the black person, male or female that has to prove him/herself to the non black person's family? Not just white but Asian, Mexican etc. He could be a neurosurgeon and she could be a Walmart worker but he still has to worry about whether her parents will accept him, while she never worries about the black partner's family's opinion.

It's like its assumed the black family will automatically accept them regardless and To be honest they're probably right. I don't know any black family that disowned a member for marrying a non black. But the opposite is numerous.

Um no, you are incorrect. I don't care the skin color, I've dated many color of women and the skin color of the parents doesn't affect me at all when wanting them to make sure I am cool and they don't have to worry about me around their daughter.

Being part Hawaiian, I find it that cacs and other races in general are just curious. I never had to qualify with to any woman I was with. Then again, I'm not exactly the soft shell type, I'm definitely more tribal than the average male. So besides answering questions to small white women, I don't really see any problems.
