Something is telling me Steve Kerr might be in a serious health situation.

I lost 18 months of my life to back problems, had nerve pain from hell after the third surgery, can't ever get that time back. Feel deep empathy for Kerr.
damn..did you sue?...average healing period should be about 3 months.

This is what scares me from back surgery. Though I need to get an MRI to see what up since my pain has come back after a few years.
I've been thinking about going to a chiropractor my self
I started seeing one a few weeks ago and while it's ok I'd suggest doing physical therapy in addition to it. I've pretty much learned recently that if you have back problems you NEED to stretch for the rest of your life. No if, ands or buts, it's gotta become a regular part of your daily routine to keep yourself healthy.

A bad back ain't no joke, an so many people go through back pain the older they get.

3 surgeries :wtf:

First surgery for two slipped disks at 18 (got undercut in a practice, mid-dunk); second surgery for slipped disk on the left side at 25; third surgery at 31, disk on the left. Each time the disk was compressing the nerve, causing the sort of constant nerve pain that can drive you to the brink of insanity. After the third I got no real relief (each disk surgery increases the likelihood of needing a future surgery, and decreases the effectiveness of future procedures) and I have vicious nerve pain. Barely slept for 18 months. Met with a friend of a friend who is a really talented doctor and she told me "never, ever let a surgeon touch you again. You're lucky you can walk. Don't let people fukk around near your spine. And don't trust surgeons, they always want to cut into you - it's what makes them money." So I started a long rehab routine that involved walking 8 miles every morning, changing my diet, stretching, and eventually progressing to more serious workouts to strengthen my core. Within 6 months I was back in good shape and relatively pain free. Within a year I was in great shape, biking 5-20 miles a day, doing full workouts, enjoying my life. Luckily never got deep into pain pills or anything like that. Then, unfortunately, I broke the fukk out of my ankle in January and now have to rehab that shyt. Just gotta keep pushing forward, take small tedious steps, treat your body well when it needs to heal, and not get too depressed that something bad happened to you. There are people outchea who can't walk, dance, fukk, etc. So a physical setback shouldn't kill you, just makes you appreciate your health that much more once you recover. But yeah, the back is no joke, I hope Kerr pulls through. He has access to amazing physical therapists and doctors, so his shyt gotta be real bad if he's still running up against it.
