Someone remind me why Lebron was so hated for "The Decision" in 2010?

Of course it wasn't the concept, nobodies saying it was.
It was the execution, the insensitivity and the hysteria it provoked, none of which meant shyt to me but people are being wilfully naive if they say they don't understand why things panned out as they did.

I thought that people were absolutely insane for reacting they way they did against Lebron.

If you're break up with someone, you don't let them know by changing your relationship status on Facebook:yeshrug:
So I guess him not signing a extension and declaring himself a free agent wasnt a sign that he was leaving?

I didnt understand the hate either. We dont criticize players who demand to traded in the middle of the season yet a guy who played out his contract and signed wit another gets all the hate in the world?

I hope this is just an act to get daps.

Why would any black man harbor any hate for Lebron james simply for exercising his right as a free agent. Especially knowing how much white folks hated him. How could any black man jump in the "hate Lebron wave" :beli:

You have to put the whole story on there. The hometown hero that promised to break the 50 year championship drought left his home team to team up with two other superstars by creating a 1 hour television special and creating the catch phrase "I'm taking my talents to......."

The execution, insensitivity, and hysteria were all apart of the concept. :heh: That's like saying I dont' have a problem with the concept of war...it's the killing, casualties, and atrocious conditions I don't like. To say it wasn't the concept is to say that it wasn't the Decision because the Decision was all about capitalizing off of hysteria and being insensitive.
Confuse concept with content brehs

Horrible analogy. The concept of war isn't killing, casualties and atrocious conditions, those are the byproducts. The concept of war is enemies attempting to subjugate each other through force.

I can't speak for anyone else...but 2010 wasn't that long ago. Dudes of all races were hating on Bron, except those from Miami.

White people were mad :yeshrug: how is it surprising given the situation? I can say that not all the white folks were mad because of anything racial, but rather that he didn't want to continue to try to win in Cleveland, and he blindsided everyone with The Decision.
