I'm with the thread starter on this one.

Lyrical ability and song writing are the worst criteria to judge a rapper on. It makes more sense to judge a rapper based on the beats said rapper raps over

I'm actually using song writing as the main basis for my argument. Putting complex rhyme schemes together isn't what defines a great rapper or song writer. If it was, Canibus would be the GOAT.

relatable, better story teller/content, better flow and diction-i can understand him, and the obvious which you already mentioned :scusthov: but the sample size is small and even then it's clear
biggie smalls is not a better story teller than project pat. "story to tell" is a corny ass way to "tell a story" Pat has plenty and they are fire. You NY elitist kill me. "relatable" so u can relate to "nikkas bleed":duck:
big had a great flow but so did pat i wouldn't put either miles ahead of the other when it comes to flow.

"Yo bytch call me sire
She flat like a tire
Shot nut in her eye-ya
On that, I don't lie-ya"

:laff:

This inspired me to go back and listen to some pat.

90 Days gotta be a top 5 song from him

:ehh:Not elitism from me. I listen music from all regions but this is just the wrong comparison. At least someone like Face would be more realistic but I don't know of any project pat songs that have the depth of say a "Juicy" ...imo.

biggie could've taught him something about rhyme schemes that flow got repetitive. doesn't have many different flows actually :ehh: It was positive though :yeshrug:unfortunately he'll be known for tracks like the other 18 in the playlist

:francis: for the sake of this argument the strucure of song and overall message is thought provoking and uplifting enough in comparison to tracks like "we aint scared hoe" which is most of project pats catalogue and what he'll be remembered for. Depth is not large words alone btw...
