SAN ANTONIO SPURS NY DIVISION
People keep bringing up Duncan's lower scoring line it fukking matters when Duncan is probably one of the clutchest/most dangerous bigs on the goddamn block.

Dudes acting like Duncan wasn't all but unguardable in one on one situations and couldn't drop 30-40 in the playoffs even when the game slowed down

Duncan is also absolutely a DPOTY-player that can be mentioned with any of the interior greats (Hakeem, Wallace, Russell, etc). I think Duncan is getting vastly underrated because dudes forget just how nice he was on offense.

I think people tend to forget that before the spurs started incorporating motion in their offense, they were simply throwing the ball to duncan and letting him work

If Duncan had a pass first guard like Stockton then his points would be inflated like malones.

:what: he played with ginoblibli ad parker 90% of his career :mjlol:

duncan wasnt an offensive force :mjlol: his numbers woulda been the same due to his mechanics regarldess who he played with on any tteams :heh: No different then when dwight was shopping teams shaq said it best "HES ONLY GONNA GET YOU 20!" Duncan woulda got you 17-23 no matter what team and no matter who he played with.. pass first guard or not.. parker/ginobli opened a lot of the lane open for him to score easy buckets due to their 15-25 feet presence..

:laff: im almost 30 years old when the fukk was duncan dropping 40 at will in the play offs :laff:

edit: tim duncan has NEVER scored 40 points in a play off game, EVER IN HIS CAREER

30 point games (Playoffs)
Karl Malone -- 54
Tim Duncan -- 35

40 point games (Playoffs)
Karl malone - 0
Tim Duncan - 0

No the fukk he ain't.. Having the 2nd most points doesn't mean you're the 2nd best scorer.

You posting some real dumb shyt in this thread. :mjlol:
I'll take my L. Jordan and Kareem are the best. Malone third tho.

Duncan turned up on the big stage...Malone gagged. Malone couldn't win (and for a while couldn't even get close) with a HOF PG, Duncan won a chip with Avery Johnson at PG and another with Speedy Claxton replacing an inconsistent TP. Malone was a very good defender, Duncan is among one of the greatest defensive anchors ever. People really forget the way that Duncan carried the Spurs during the first decade of his career. That one postseason he led them in pts, reb, ast, and blks. He took it to Kobe and Shaq and Glen Rice in his 2nd year with his highest scoring teammate giving him 13 ppg. That about cover it?

Malone don't have a ring for the same reason Reggie, Patrick, and Charles don't have one. They ran into
What about the years MJ wasnt playing? He had 2 chances to win a ring with no MJ around and couldn't get out his conference

MJ ain't stop him from losing to Houston and Seattle every year:ufdup:

Had 2 jordan free finals in 94 and 95 and still didnt win. Suns had 2 cracks at the rockets and choked both times(blew a 2-0 lead with the series going back to Phoenix in 94' and blew a 3-1 lead in 95'). Jazz lost in 5 in the west finals in 94' and lost to a 6th seeded rockets team in 95' . Knicks lost in the finals and had 2 games to close out Houston and didnt.

karl malone is not a 3rd best offensive player ever, you are lying to hype up your boy KD for leaving his team. Having arguably the greatest longevity does not equal to being the top 3 offensive player. Karl Malone has never won the nba scoring champ title, he doesn't have crazy clutch games like dirk had in 2011, like hakeem had destroying his competition back in 94 and 95, players up to this day are asking hakeem to help their game on offense. I dont see anyone asking karl malone for help on offense. There are so many all time players who are better offensive players than Malone
