In what why? Malone scored better and more efficiently and on everything else they were pretty identical

kawwwl was a good scorer and put up nice stats but he benefited greatly from playing alongside one of the goat pg's. a high % of his baskets were assisted and from what i've seen he often couldn't figure out how to get his shot off once playoff defences focused in on him. plus Malone's basketball IQ seemed to drop off every postseason, the primary beneficiary being jordan of course. don't get me wrong, kg was a playoff disappointment for most of his career, but once he got a good supporting cast and good coaches he was able to anchor one of the goat nba defenses and win a ring.

I totally get the rings argument but outside of that why is Karl Malone viewed as that much lesser then T.D. yes, give Timmy D the edge with rings but outside of that he's in the same league as a power forward.

Malone shot 52% from the field for 19 seasons while averaging 25 ppg. He's as good of a scorer as anybody.
