If you're ignorant to Ross catalogue simply shut the fukk up

:rudy:So we can't criticize ross ? I've listened to all his albums and they are good but that's because he plays his role gets beats and features . He can rap but doesn't make him a lyricist or have a nice pen game :youngsabo:

Personally that's all I care about.:manny:

But I don't really stan Ross or think he's the best rapper or anything. I like alot of rappers that make alot of good music. I don't need every rapper to fill every category for me. In fact I'd probably be mad if Ross tried to be different for the sake of being different and started dropping wack music.

Also I never said that Ross was better than Rae or anything like that. Seems like people selectively criticize 1 rapper for doing something alot of other rappers are guilty of doing. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Ok and that's your Opinion cool. You like Ross ok and you admit his flaws :yeshrugs: but the people putting him top 10 and saying he's the best in the game :wtf:

You don't listen to his ,music, yet you gonna say his verses are generic? WTF

:stopitslime:

I guess you were the only person who didn't understand what I wrote. Whenever I hear one of his features it SOMETIMES sounds like he spit the same verse from his last feature. Just think about that for a second. His last feature I heard was Accident Murderer. Dude couldn't even stick to the damn song topic.

You have people saying you can switch one of his verses in one song with another and not notice the difference :laff:

That's REALLY bad.

I'm listening to Port of Miami right now. After this i'm going to check the GFID thread.

I can't believe some of these ross stans. Dudes coming in the thread with their FIRST post talking about "fukk you we dont have to explain shyt!" Your going crazy on another dude cause he doesn't understand the hype around Ross? What kind of fukking emotional crap is that? I'm convinced these lames are in love with Ross :wrist:

Comparing Ross to Wu?? :ninja2:

These clowns never listened to a Wu album in their life.

Uh..apparently not, homie.

Listening to Rick Ross the drug kingpin in 2012 is like watching the movie Scarface for the thousandth time. Except the shyt is being passed off as new music and we're all somehow supposed to ignore that fact.

I mean are you really invested in the personal growth of rappers you have no personal connection to? Don't mistake a lack of growth with being stale though. Nobody wants to hear stale ass music.

Hmm..thats what gives great albums their replay value..the fact that you connect with the artists on the first day of the release and also 10 years later.

You telling me 10 years from now you will be listening to god forgives:birdman:?

I seen somebody ask "how come nobody criticizes Rae?"....well, because Rae popularized that type of rap damn near 20 years ago. It's his shyt....on top of that he can deviate drastically from that style, like on "The Watch" or "The Sun".

Don't know yet. But replay value don't have shyt to do with growth. Actually most artists attempt to show growth usually ends up with :flabbynsick: music.

Aint those Ghostface songs? You know Ghost came up with those ideas.

For me, I like when rappers stick to doing what they do and still keep it fresh. My point was that other rappers(that I Love) staying rapping about the same shyt, but when Ross do it shows how wack he is.

Or his biggest hit, "Ice Cream"

shyt OB4CL had more range than RR's whole catalog, content wise.... if it had a Lex Luger and Justice League beat it would have it smashed musically too :manny:

^^^^

go check that thread and see how it should be when discussing rappers u like online. Nothing but FANS in there discussing music THEY LIKE. Nobody who doesn't like Lloyd Banks is in there begging to beconvinced to enjoy his music. Just a thread full of fans celebrating music THEY enjoy.

You know what's sad. If u wanna blog and discuss a Rick Ross album on the internet u can't do so without Trolls and phony fans polluting the thread. Threads like this are exactly what's wrong with hiphop. "These ppl" just can't stand for ppl to like music THEY dont like.
