With whats left realistically im thinking we finish at 12. Just not good timing with early signing period, late bowl, and not having a solid staff in place..should be top 5 next year though

I didn't really like that last update. Woodie and Leavitt seem 50-50. I remember Johnson with the 49ers he seemed out of his depth. Dugans and Buckley not offered a job yet... Hopefully everything works out.
Facts too all of this. Taggart came through and got dudes decommitting from schools they been signed to for a yr... decommits are NOW hitting him up to try and get back in... this weekend will be a big one

Leavitt wants to be a HC. He's coming to FSU. Why? Because we are a program that every body wants to see and know about. I mean the haters out weigh our fan base at times. I mean look at some of these fakkit Cane fans on here. They know who are recuits are and keep up with FSU news constantly.
With that being said Leavitt is old and his time is ticking for HC gigs. The main problem is that kid he choked out that kid at USF. That's why he's never been an HC again. But that was 7 years ago and people are slowly forgetting about it. The kid killed himself a few months ago that brought it up again. So that is not good timing.
Bottomline being a DC at FSU will land him a HC gig quicker than it will being a DC at Oregon. When FSU is good. Everyone watches.

Yeah. Johnson was booty at the Niners. Leavitt was with the Ninert too. Did a great job coaching the LB.

when he comes through.If Telly coming in as a TE coach, then that means Coach Pimp at Oregon coming after the bowl game to be the RB coach. Willie ain't fukking around. The only thing I'm not liking so far is the Dawsey vibe. Seems like he's on the trail harder in these last couple of weeks than he has been his entire tenure at FSU. I hope Willie don't get suckered into keeping him. Also hearing Willie may be bringing in his old S&C coordinator too. Good riddance drunk ass Vic...and I hope them boys ready for an hour straight of pushups

If Telly coming in as a TE coach, then that means Coach Pimp at Oregon coming after the bowl game to be the RB coach. Willie ain't fukking around. The staff is going to be diesel. No they don't. Mark Richt isn't a great coach at all. They have a few seasons like this but expect to see 4 and 5 loss seasons like you did when he was at GA. Willie T about to keep his foot on UF and UM necks. It's not going to be pretty.

Relatively quiet on the assistant coach trail. So far, all we are pretty confident about is that Odell Haggins will remain on to coach defensive line and Telly Lockette will coach either running backs or tight ends

Don't think the possibility is completely dead but it's not looking great right now. Before Mario Cristobal was promoted to full-time head coach, Leavitt was pretty much set to become the new DC. Obviously that changed with surprising promotion of Cristobal.

Its too close to signing day for Warren or Bolden to pop this weekend. I think they will, along with Antoine Green and Malcolm Lamar, take their recruitment past the early signing period. The only trigger I see being pulled this weekend is Penix. Now that Willie is trimming the fat, I expect Chaz Neal to be next to be "dropped". If we can get to the 20th without a lot of kids signing, then it will make Willie's board a lot clearer. Allow him some time to work on kids like Woodbey from out west.
Hearing Mike Elko from Notre Dame may be an option at DC if Leavitt doesnt come. With Telly coming as a TE coach, I fully expect Pimpleton to come as RB as soon as Oregon season is over.
