Schedule looks tough on paper, but I like that the harder games are towards the end of the season. Realistically 9-3 would be good. But I'm hoping for a playoff appearance *fingers crossed*

Clemson's schedule is mad easy this season. The conference looked out for them no weekday games.... The ACC really needs to move to a 9 game school because some teams have cakewalk every year(Miami).
Trying to figure out how this is a hard schedule. It's the most easiest one we had in awhile with the real tough games at home. We got a different type of coach here now. Not that idiot that would have us losing to Carolina and Virginia.

VT shyts the bed against good teams but slaughter weak teams.

Louisville sucked with Lamar. Imagine how they will be without him.

Miami has been exposed. Enough said.

NC state loss Chubb and Finley.

ND is overrated and we always beat them.

Clemson is about the hardest team we play and the chance is high we can win since it's a home game.

It all comes down to how fast the team is on board. But honestly we are not going to get a schedule much better than this. It's a good schedule for a first year coach facing teams that are transitioning with new players.

You must not know about Miami Cubans. They definitely going to slide their Gumbas in even is they are not really qualified. The normal workplace is like that too

LOL

Assit coach: who the redbone standing by the exit sign?
Ritch: hell naw, that mudda fukka there

Welp I guess Coach Bell can visit Foster with Taggart. If that's not a first elite tweet, then I don't know what is.

Bruh that's a tell-tell sign.. In a interview I remember heading him say that where ever he felt at home and whichever coach his mom felt comfortable with, that would be the school he went too.

I like bruh, but man those 19' Qb's are ELITE. Even if we dont get jitt we'll get a good one in 19;

So jimbo or nobody else couldn't offer this dude?

This WR recruit has one P5 offer, but his highlights are bananas
This receiver recruit’s highlight tape is bananas. Tennessee was the 1st power to discover him, one month before Signing Day
How can someone so talented go unnoticed in the state of Georgia?

Dual-threat QB out of Georgia expected to visit FSU today

Intriguing visitor making his way to campus today.
A source has informed Noles247 that Valdosta (GA) Lowndes three-star quarterback/athlete Michael Barrett is expected to take an unofficial visit to Florida State today.

Earlier this week Chris Nee reported that FSU was showing interest in the dual-threat quarterback and today he is expected on campus. It’s unclear exactly which position FSU is recruiting him at, but we should know more when the visit concludes.

Barrett has been terrific under center over the last two seasons completing 63 percent of his passes for 1,705 yards and 16 touchdowns to just two interceptions with another 1,195 yards rushing and 13 scores. As a junior he emerged as a name to know with a 62-percent completion rate and 2,753 yards passing and 27 touchdowns to just six interceptions. He also gained 1,283 yards and scored 21 more times.

Noles247 will have more with Barrett after the visit concludes.

Late bloomer with grade issues.....that's the recipe for being overlooked. There are thousands of basketball and football monsters at a Juco right now because of that same situation. Power 5 programs try to have their pick of the litter and only start turning over stones to find these gems if needed. I'd actually be shocked if FSU takes a swing at him with all the other prospects still on their board at WR.

I knew it had to be something of the sort, but knowing how schools like to bend rules i'd figure they'll still offer. I hear Xavier Peters from Ohio has grade issues as well (per gaytor nation). I see they offered after we did and thought that was funny. seeing how hard it is to get into UF :jawalrus:

FSU Recruiting Scoop: 1/19
The latest inside intel from the recruiting trail.
6_5258891.jpg

Here are a few things I'm hearing from the recruiting trail:

— First item of the scoop, I put in a Crystal Ball pick for quarterback James Foster to Florida State. I’m told the in-home visit with Willie Taggart and Walt Bell went very well yesterday. Bell and Taggart both connected with Foster and his mother. FSU’s offense was the selling point and Foster see’s himself as a fit with what Taggart does. Still some hurdles to overcome for FSU, Foster visits Alabama this weekend, Texas A&M next weekend and then FSU on February 2nd.

— There’s sort of a weird situation going on with four-star Kentucky linebacker commitment Xavier Peters right now. The UF and FSU coaches staff’s are expecting Peters in for an official visit next weekend. No, he’s not making two visits in one weekend. I worked on gaining some clarity this morning, but as of now there is none. We’ll have to see how this one plays out over the next few days.

— FSU coaches were at Armwood high school earlier this week. I’m told the confidence is still very high that FSU signs both receiver Warren Thompson and defensive end Malcolm Lamar. They also like linebacker James Miller, but at this point he has not been offered.

— This morning we broke the news that Lowndes dual-threat quarterback/athlete Michael Barrett will be on campus for an official visit. I’m told there’s been no determination of a position for Barrett. The plan is to get him on campus today and discuss that with the staff. The coaches are impressed with what he does with the ball in his hands on offense and also like him as a middle linebacker. He played primarily on defense as a freshman and sophomore before taking over at quarterback. Barrett is 6-foot and 215-pounds, right now he does not have an offer, but that could change depending on how today’s visit goes.

— I mentioned this on the message board earlier in the week but it’s worth stating again. FSU is actively recruiting Cedar Hill (TX) running back Maurice Washington. The staff visited him this week and is working to get him in on an official visit before Signing Day. As of now nothing is set up, but if/when that happens we’ll let you know.

@Flawdaboi Dont bet on Barrett coming. Got info that he’s Tech bound. Got offered by Harbaugh before the season started but they’ve backed off. Only wanted him to get his teammate Tisdale in ‘19
