That's a tough ass stretch to close the season......damn. And not just for the strength of the teams, but the physical toll it will take on the players cause those teams are physical games. Miami, a break, then Clemson, NCSt, ND, BC, UF, then Miami again??? Whew
Yep. But as long as we stay fairly healthy we should be good...

Esp if that defense hummin

I like the schedule..its well balanced, no thurs or fri games and no back to back top 25 opponent's..also think the QBs we face are ass cheeks for the most part

fukk ND btw. Usually visiting teams get about 8-10k allotments but these fake religious b*stards limited us to 5k so I’m assed our as far that game. Looks like either Raleigh vs NCST or down to our home away from home

Raymond Woodie visiting trio of top targets at American Heritage
Florida State coaches on the recruiting trail.

Noles247 has confirmed that Florida State assistant coach Raymond Woodie is back down in Fort Lauderdale at American Heritage today to visit with five-star CB Patrick Surtain Jr., five-star CB Tyson Campbell and four-star DE/LB Andrew Chatfield.

Chatfield is set for an official visit to Florida State this weekend, but Woodie is still trying to secure visits for Surtain Jr. and Campbell. Both seem to be an uphill battle at the moment, we'll have to see what comes of today's meeting. For FSU to have any shot at Surtain and Campbell they'll need to come in on an official visit.

We'll have more on Noles247 after these visits conclude later on today.

Greg Frey in Michigan to see five-star offensive tackle today

Florida State's Greg Frey is seeing one of the best OL in the country today.
Noles247 has learned that Florida State offensive line coach Greg Frey is in Michigan today to check in on five-star 2019 offensive tackle Devontae Dobbs. The Nation's No. 1 ranked tackle in the 2019 class has a good relationship with Frey from his time on the Wolverine coaching staff.
The Seminoles also offered Dobbs' 2021 teammate today. Damon Payne, a 6-foot-4, 255-pound pass rushing defensive end picked up his 5th offer when the Seminoles extended him a scholarship.

We'll have more on the visit with Dobbs later in the day.

Top247 LB has Florida official scheduled
All three Sunshine State powers are working to flip West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West Top247 LB Xavier Peters.
The first time West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West Top247 linebacker Xavier Peters visited the state of Florida was earlier this month for the Under Armour All-American game.
Sounds like he could be a frequent visitor leading up to National Signing Day.
Committed to Kentucky since July, Florida, Florida State and Miami have all caught his eye.
“The last thing I heard he’s going to Florida to visit this weekend,” Lakota West coach Larry Cox said. “He has spoken with Florida State and Miami as well. We’ll see what comes of it
Peters has never really visited any other school besides Kentucky.
“Florida State was up this week for a home visit,” Cox said. “Miami came in for a home visit. I know Florida is coming in tomorrow too. But as he said at this point, he said coach, I still like Kentucky, but it’s one of those things I have to at least talk to these people and cross everything off before I sign my papers.”
Peters took his official to Lexington in December.
As far as a pecking order between the three Florida schools.
“I think he’s still learning about them,” Cox said.
247Sports ranks the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Peters as the nation’s No. 13 outside linebacker and No. 6 recruit in the state of Ohio.

Coveted QB James Foster on track with busy official visit slate
247Sports Composite four-star quarterback James Foster is on track to complete his busy official visit schedule ahead of a decision.

6_5372377.jpg

Following an official visit to LSU over the weekend, James Foster had to make a tough decision. The only national event he was invited to complete his prep career at -- the Polynesian Bowl -- was set for check in and a week of festivities in Hawaii before a nationally-televised game on Saturday.

The latter part was the issue for the Montgomery (Ala.) Sidney Lanier quarterback. He has a very busy official visit schedule down the stretch of the college football recruiting process and the week's festivities would have cut into a planned official visit to national champion Alabama. Not to mention the week of coaches visiting the area to meet with him, his family and the like.

The 247Sports Composite four-star prospect elected to skip the experience to devote more time to the process, meaning all scheduled official visits remain on track, Foster told the network. Alabama will get him on campus this weekend, followed by Texas A&M the weekend of January 26 and Florida State on the final weekend before signing day in February. The four official visit destinations remain the primary programs under consideration, he reports, despite recent offers from Nebraska and Arkansas and communication with Kentucky as well as the program he was once committed to -- Missouri.

Foster has been fairly quiet since the LSU visit, other than confirming his plans moving forward, but the 48-hour stay in Baton Rouge and time with new Tiger offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger made an impact. Ed Orgeron's staff isn't slowing down its pursuit of the senior, though.

"LSU coming to see me Wednesday," he said.

247Sports asked if he had any remaining questions stemming from the trip.

"Not really," he said.

Another program with its staff recently completed, Florida State, will be in Montgomery to meet with the Yellowhammer State's hottest offensive recruit.

"Coach (Willie) Taggart coming Thursday," Foster said.

In addition to head coaching changes with FSU and Texas A&M, which also completed its staff this week, assistant coaching changes have been a theme among the programs heavily in the mix for the four-year high school starter. Questions remain among the staffs on his trail, especially at Alabama, which has yet to replace offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. The first-year college play-caller was Foster's lead recruiter for the Crimson Tide before leaving for the same position with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

The Alabama-Mississippi All-Star signal-caller maintains a national signing day decision.

S/O to Coach Bell's musical taste. It'll be interesting to see the music selections during practices lol

This cac actually has good taste in music. Had to be around black folks to like Isley Brothers and Luther. That's that old school funk. Miss those days.

I dont know why Miami and UF are clowning so much. Just because coaches are not well known doesn't mean they're bad. What makes Bell and Barnett bad hires? They have good resumes. I'm optimistic about both.

Do UF fans have room to clown? Billy Gonzalez is a terrible coach. Sal Sunseri is beyond washed. Barnett is terrible, but Todd Grantham is great hire? What???

Schedule looks tough on paper, but I like that the harder games are towards the end of the season. Realistically 9-3 would be good. But I'm hoping for a playoff appearance *fingers crossed*

Clemson's schedule is mad easy this season. The conference looked out for them no weekday games.... The ACC really needs to move to a 9 game school because some teams have cakewalk every year(Miami).

Florida State visiting Dennis Briggs today
Florida State coaching staff on the recruiting trail.

Noles247 has learned Florida State assistant coaches Raymond Woodie and David Kelly are in the Orlando area today. One of their key stops will be in Kissimmee, Fla. to see four-star defensive tackle Dennis Briggs.
Briggs visited Miami over the weekend on an official visit. There was some concern that he might commit, but he did not. Briggs is set to visit the Seminoles on January 26th. This is primarily a FSU-Miami battle for the talented instate defensive tackle.

Them dudes need to get Deion there on campus for the 26th... damn everybody coming that day
