I'm glad someone else said it, but a lot of these people who want sports back at all cost, even though as I type this hospital beds are becoming scarce in states like AZ, TX, and major upticks in 17 other states; sound a whole hell of a lot like Laura Ingraham. "Do your job, just shut up and dribble for me".

Anyway this bubble thing and keeping teams that have already been eliminated in it sounds like preventative measures for the next season. And I haven't seen much about this, otherwise what's the point of keeping them there. More than likely lottery teams/other teams that don't make it to postseason will have to regularly check in with the NBA, while everyone else is under the NBA's eye. Then season ends and everyone has to report the same way for the next two months.

Doesn't sound too foolproof. Then add in Melo's statement of players still being in the dark about shyt and it's simple, they've announced they're coming back without an actual working model. It's almost like nobody's learned anything after being restricted for a month, this ain't something you're going to rush your way out of. You rush and you make it worse, so hopefully they aren't as stubborn about money as fans are about an orange ball and a hoop when/if shutting back down is on the table.

Look they gonna play because they already told the world they would......all these rumors of unease and lack of desire mean nothing, they told the public they’re back.....can’t walk that back now

Wrong. Shyt can change in a heartbeat. They were supposed to finished the season, and look what happened a few months ago. They can walk anything back and will be forced to lean back.

Just like the breh said above, they’ve announced they’re coming back without a working model. Too many issues at play. New surges of cases in Florida, civil unrest, players wanting certain freedoms, etc. This may be a way they can try for a new season, but that is up in the air too.

In all likelihood, this shyt is a wrap. If somehow they do get this underway, it will probably fall apart

Let's make it the spectacle it deserves to be.
I want names--I want to know who wants out.
You don't want to play? Fine.
You can even still get paid.
I just want a statement from the coach and team captain that
"we feel we have no shot at winning a title this year. there are teams that are clearly superior to us who deserve to compete at the highest level for a championship, which we proved we were unable to do this year."
Then they get their full bag, and can stay home.
Let's just get the teams that REALLY want to be there.
I don't care if it's Milwaukee and the Lakers and that's it.
Hell, Clippers? 76ers? Celts?
Who wants in on this Thunderdome action?
Once you get the teams that want to be there, and feel like they have a shot at this, design a round robin and let's roll.
It'll shut up alllllllll the fans on here saying "this ring won't be legit" if you got guys like Melo saying "we had no shot this year."
