And Batman fights Superman on numerous occasions :yeshrug:

And while this information was interesting, I don't see what it had to do with what I was saying :patrice:

Batman fights superman maybe two or three times, they just keep retelling that particular story in different media so it seems like it happens often.
Ironman has to fight Hulk on a semi-regular basis. Dozens of times at least. Perhaps 20 or more.

That is why comic people don't look at it the same way. Its a regular thing.
Hulk is a rampaging monster, so he has fought most of the Marvel Heroes roster at one point or another. And the fights are shown and concluded with a definitive victor and outcome. On the other hand, Superman/Batman draws speculation because they refuse to allow them to settle the conflict in a definitive manner with an absolute winner... except basically in Frank Miller's work, which is the only real fight they have outside of perhaps Tower of Babel where Batman fights the whole league.

The final reason Ironman/Hulk is not regarded the same is because ppl root for Superman and ppl root for Batman. Whenever Ironman fights Hulk its because Hulk is trampling people and knocking over cars and foaming at the mouth throwing trees at buildings. Its not a battle of ideology or anything. Its like a fight between a dog and a dog catcher.

Thats my take on it.

Funny thing is they just released season two of daredevil and its really good. So you are reminded how Ben Affleck tanked daredevil right as he is about to be Batman.

So regularity makes it different? Just because one happens more often doesn't make it any more believable. People saying they can't suspense belief of a man in a suit of armor fighting an overpowered being and yet you have Iron Man and Hulk battling with no complaints. The reasons they're fighting are different but the means they use to fight (Bats and Iron Man being regular dudes in a suit of armor) aren't different.

(I do want to say I have no qualms with either Bats vs. Supes or Iron man vs Hulk, just that the OP has a really dumb reason as to why the fight is unbelievable)

I agree, one is no more far fetched than the other. But yes regularity is extremely relevant when accepting ridiculous things.

If one person were to one day out of nowhere cut off the tip of a baby's dikk everyone would be up in arms and they'd bury that dude under the jail.
But cut off the tips of lots of baby dikks in mass and nobody cares anymore. Its regarded as a regular thing thats fine to do instead of mutilation.

Acceptance is merely a psychological phenomenon. :yeshrug:
The more something occurs, the less people seem to care.

I love how no one touched this :mjlol:

Or how no one complained about iron man taking on the Hulk :sas1:

Isn't Iron Man's armor is made of some kind of fictional material that makes it durable with the equivalent ofa nuclear reactor as it's power source lol, also his suit of armor on another level than that shyt batman is wearing which looks like the suit he built when he was captured by ISIS in the first movie.

Also the hulk is a brainless monster, so circumstances can lead to him being subdued, plus hulk has to get angrier to get stronger where superman is already impervious.

Missiles can't hit him and he doesn't even move, yet Batman can punch him and knock him down, lol, it's just dumb

Iron Man's armor is a mix of titanium, nickel, and carbon composite. No adamantium or vibranium.

Hulk is already on Superman/Thor strength level without getting angrier.

And Superman can be hit by missiles and other things. Depends on how powerful they are, they can hurt him....but won't kill him. And as far Batman knocking him down......no one cared when Iron Man managed a fight with Thor which shouldn't happen.....ever. I just chalk it up to the writers making what they want to happen and trying to make things exciting.
