there are no decent human being in the police force. case in point= did jake call the department and told them what alonzo was doing? the incident with macy gray should have been an indication that alonzo was not on the up and up. jake will eventuality be corrupted by the white supremacist.

It was in the script, but I don't know if it was ever filmed:

EXT. JAKE'S HOUSE - NIGHT 86 Jake shoves the nine in his waistband and crosses to the sedan. Lou, Doug and Stan (The Three Wise Men) exit the car. They've been waiting.

STAN Where's the money, Jake?

JAKE The evidence room at headquarters. Jake slaps Alonzo's badge on the trunk.

STAN That's not necessary.

JAKE That's not mine.

Doug picks up Alonzo's badge, impressed, pockets it. Before Doug can say anything.

JAKE Now leave me the hell alone.

With the last of his strength, a battered and mauled Jake limps away. The three wise men climb in their car. The plush sedan backs out of Jake's driveway. Jake enters his house.

PULL BACK. Jake's home becomes indistinguishable in a sea of houses.

I also found this piece of trivia interesting: The speech "An L.A.P.D. narcotics officer was killed today serving a high risk warrant. A spokesperson said the officer is survived buy his wife and infant child." Is said twice in the movie. Alonzo says it first while threatening Jake's life with a shotgun after he had just shot Roger (failing to get Jake to pull the trigger). It is said again at the end of the movie reporting over about Alonzo's death.
