You're clearly illiterate or didn't even bother reading what I wrote before you posted or maybe you're one of the people I was referring to so I elicited such an emotion response.

Thanks for playing

The time I spent reading your drivel was too much honestly

Losing 9 US Senate seats in 2014 was the dagger

Dems lose only 4-5 and they may have had the majority into Trump’s term

Okay but Trump, unchecked gerrymandering, and the 2013 gutting of the VRA....

No Trump and there's no way we're in this predicament

I agree the health was a major concern but eh, there were a number of factors and we have no real idea of who O would have appointed/packed the courts with. Based on their records/opinions/hiddencauses I still would have preferred her to stay on, even if she bowed out eventually as is custom and if the choice were between she and Breyer, her. Was she conservative? Yes. Speaks about stuff she doesn’t know about that made her seem anti-Black Men? yes. Not perfect but was considering women. Could go on but tired. C is a big change.

There are over 10 states (conservative number) with laws on the books that go into effect the moment Roe v Wade is overturned, outlawing abortion outright.

The influx of women from Texas is already causing a strain on abortion clinics in bordering states.

Plus, even with a supposed increase in charity, the journey somewhere else to undergo a medical procedure isn't easy. What about jobs, family members that are being left behind? Charity won't cover close to enough women left behind in what will be huge swathes of the country.

What abortion advocate you know has ever gone postal? Against a federal official? :comeon:

Yeah I think you're overstating the impact this will have on national elections. It wasn't enough to get a shytty candidate in Clinton over the line.
it wasnt overturned in 2016 :yeshrug:

roe v wade is the dog chasing a car. these motherfukkers dont really want to get on a debate stage and tell every woman in this country they should be forced to give birth to a baby under any circumstance. of course the rednecks do, but lets see it nationally

frankly, im pro choice myself, but im not too militant about abortion. i can see where the objection is raised, when it comes to putting an egg beater to a fetus

Well, gerrymandering doesn't affect US Senate races. Of course 2013 VRA gutting by SCOTUS hurt.
All I'm saying is this. If Dems kept the majority after 2014 by only losing 4-5 seats instead of 9 (!), they would have had the majority after 2016 too as they gained a net of 2 seats.

Trump isn't getting judges through a 52-48, DEM MAJORITY, in 2017 and 2018. The course of history would have been different and Obama would have been able to get his SCOTUS justice through.

2014 was the dagger through the back. It was devastating and no one talks about it.
