You really think they would? If they were down, it would already be happening. People break laws to do what they want everyday. From drugs, to sex, to guns, to DUI, everyday millions of people break laws to do something that they want to do. How many people out here living the polygamous lifestyle illegally breh? No one is going to start just because it's legal. Laws don't stop people from doing things, they make them be more cautious (and some people aren't even that cautious) or they provide grounds for punishment.

You can't get married to more than one person.

I would feel like I was a bottom bish if I had to be the 2nd wife AND work, THEN split my money with the man, first wife & her kids. I'm not sure my self esteem could ever fall that low to put up with that daily ether.

And those benefits don't matter for people who have millions and billions of dollars. Glad you brought up ideology. There is also an ideology of "one woman, one man" that is rampant amongst women. A change in law, won't change that. The laws on marriage haven't changed but there has been an ideological shift. Boyfriends and girlfriends are treated with the same respect as married couples in most circles.
