Naw bro, I saw a robbery. The chorus of boos myself and the overwhelming majority of the crowd rained down on that decision was very telling. And even Lampley agreed 3 American judges, in america, with an all American Olympic fighter in a close fight doesn't bode well for the Russian guy. Man, even the bookies acknowledged Wards true defeat. One of my bros bet Ward and the bookie told him he shouldn't have won. Even ran into ROC Nation prez Yormack and Dan Rafael of ESPN on the plane back and Yormack was stumbling for words trying defend his guy lmao. He knew the Son of Gifts lost but I get it. Your guy won so you have to defend him. I'd probably do the same if my guy got a b.s. win he didn't deserve cuz he was truly inferior. I get it. But now we wait for the rematch. Hopefully Ward doesn't retire like his air of invincibility did.

Kovalev is the more popular fighter among mainstream boxing media members and fans so why I would be surprised that they were upset?
Truth is boxing isn't a popularity contest.
And those journalists who run with this "American judges robbed Kovalev" theory are looking like clowns cause they are usually American too and them and almost all their friends in the media were riding Kovalev's dikk while they were shytting on Ward American or not. In the US things are more about race then nationality, but when the agenda supports these guys' views they shift to the "Ward was awarded with the decision because he is American" theory in a blink of an eye. :wow:

How is it that many American fans and media member openly wanted Kovalev to win over the American guy but when Ward got the decision it's because American judges? They are the "exceptions" while the judges represent the majority or what they think? :mjlol:

Kovalev is also a sore loser, like him or not you must admit that looking at how he acts now. This guy was given the chance to make a pro career by an American promoter, with a American coach at American venues all while he lived and trained in American for years. But now it's suddenly "fukk American judges"?

Y'all need to go head with that robbery talk.

kkkovalev gotta find a way to win a fight against Ward without using his right hand. They have a hell of a challenge. Y'all should have a #RingGang meet up since we got 3 peeps going now.

Thought we couldn't be on more polar opposite sides of the coin @Mr. Leonidas I appreciate you donating your money to one lucky Ward fan and the #SOG foundation.

@MIAlien you got anything for us breh?

On a side note: I heard Russian and Ukrainian schools are basically the same but interestingly their fighters usually seem different, Ukrainians seem to have been taught to defend better somehow but Russians seems to be more effective offensively. There are exceptions here too of course but take a look.

on one side you have Loma, Wlad, Gvozdyk, Postol, Usyk

o other side you have Golovkin (well not Russian but that school), Kovalev, Beterbiev, Povetkin, Provodnikov, Gassiev...

I think they benefit from not rushing their prospects to the american pro's. #BeterBeast, Loma, Gvozdyk, Usyk were all well into their 20's with their debuts, correct?

Also I think Segey has the skillset to be a good defender, just that he thinks offense first, and his offense has never betrayed him. For being an up and down no special effects stiff russian CAC dude has interesting moves with his feet no tua. If he moved his head as well as he moved his feet, Ward would have a lot tougher time.

But I also think Ward's style at any weight neutralize's this any version of this new EE style. Because they can't seem to deal with dudes in their chest n/t.

NOT TRUE. Ward was the favorite bruh, and the odds favored him to win. And I was down there. And trust me my black ass was outnumbered by the Ward fans. And also if you look up the media predictions for the fight, Ward was overwhelmingly picked by the media to win a decision.

being the betting favorite =/= media members want him to win
The fight was in Nevada which is close to Ward's home state so it's not surprising if there were more Ward fans right there but I also didn't speak on the crowd specifically in the arena but about American boxing fans in general.
