Sergay is in shock but the better man won. When he got tired in that first fight..that was the exposing factor to a mind...a boxing scientific mind like Ward as a blueprint. "I NEED TO GET THIS GUY TIRED EARLIER" The body shots got that result and Sergay may be in shock but Ward proved he was the more multifaceted boxer of the two. Kudos to Ward.

Funny thing is the ref did Kovalev a favor by stopping it tbh.

Dude was finished. If you get stunned early that's one thing, but later in a fight where the other fighter still has snap and you're gassed is asking for a more severe stoppage.

Kovalev s head was sitting there to get knocked off if Weeks didn't jump in. I thought the stoppage was premature but the end was coming right there or in the next round. No way Kovalev could have recovered from that work

yeah it was 3 -4 unanswered BODY shots and there was probably 10 seconds left...i don't think the fight should have been stopped considering. but who knows what Tony Weeks was thinking at the time.

one of those hit the B on the trunks. CLEARLY low. Still think Ward would have won it in the next 2 rounds, but I'm no psychic. Horrible stoppage by an experienced referee

Ward is a more complete fighter and takes more chances. Ward is fighting killas not midgets.
