Pointless debate when folks fail to acknowledge the real world failures we see in socialism. :manny:
No real world failures.

Only the machinery of imperialism and exploitation being utilized to destroy any attempts at liberation or socialism.

Every single socialist project, without a doubt, has been attacked, undermined, and suppressed from the outside.

Meanwhile, Sankara's Burkina Faso alone produced greater results than any "capitalist" attempt in that same time period

So, it's proven to be unable to withstand outside interference? Or were the attempt(s) simply not robust enough?

Isn’t that the point?

If ideological socialism can’t exists within the construct of a world with ideological variety then there’s an issue.

It’s easy to blame it on external factors, but ultimately egalitarianism is outside of the natural order and it is t just humans.

And for that reason we often see far left ideology wanting or needing the mythical virtuous king

No.

The issue isn't just "ideological variety." I think it's pretty uncontroverted that virtually all Western education systems are anti-communist, the same goes for its media wings.

I'm not just talking about the popularity of socialism or communism - I'm talking about the actual assassination of socialist and communist leaders internationally, the U.S./French/UK/German/Belgian/Spanish-backed coups and overthrows of even vaguely Left-leaning leaders, the color revolutions, the civil wars started by Western government-backed forces, the military invasions, the the "police actions," the non-controversial false flag operations, the spying, trade embargoes, bombings, torturing, ethnic cleansings, mass-incarceration, etc.

Western governments have committed every conceivable international crime and broken every international rule except detonating nuclear weapons on foreign soil post-1946 to stop socialist and communist projects from succeeding.

You think the Black Panther Party's biggest problem was "natural order" and not the U.S. government's literal war on teenagers and young adults?

Communism and socialism aren’t the same thing.

And we have proof positive of communist world powers failing their people.

Do better.

You’re still talking about theory where in 2023 you need to be able to actually discuss implementation and the continuity.

As noted above, what you mean by outside interference is:
  • Ethnic cleansing;
  • Assassination of governmental leaders;
  • Invasions by multiple militaries;
  • Carpet bombing of civilian areas;
  • Trade embargoes to stop the flow of food, water and medicine into countries;
  • False flag operations to target growing populist socialist/communist groups;
  • The targetted flow of billions of dollars to anti-communist groups;
  • Election interference on a mass scale;
  • And that's just a handful of things done that has been openly covered in media

You could replace socialism with "Black self-determination" and all of your arguments would be just as accurate. Which is to say, they're not.

When a racist claims that Black-led nations and cities have struggled to measure up to non-Black ones on major indicators, is that proof that Black leadership is inferior, or was it due to outside interference and explicitly disadvantaging conditions that have been dealt them?

And is the lack of "resiliency" by Black-led areas to overcome the disadvantages of White supremacy prove there's so sort of issue with Black leadership? Or does it prove that overwhelming power used in an evil way sucks for everyone regardless of who the target it?
