really most countries dont have a mix imo. what they have is a mix of public and private sector. socialism is only when workers are in control, not the government, that said the countries that make basic needs public sector are way better off

People need in no particular order...

1) Security
2) Shelter
3) Health care
4) Education...

Any government official who tells me that "the country can't afford it" is DAMN liar...

When you pour your money into:

• empire-building
• kickbacks
• forcing labor to work so many hours that they don't have time or money to have kids

then you're gonna have a difficult time affording all of those things.
