Im feelin the Yay areas swag and lingo, I just always hated the music. Thought it was absolute trash (except D - Lo). But Ive been seeing a lotta new shyt out the Bay I fukk with, I been stuck on Ezale. The Bay uses alotta samples and a party like vibe to their music.

yeah they use old school samples as well, although the whole chopping, looping, and speeding up old school samples didn't get popular until recently, at least as far as I can remember. I also like the traditional deep bass beats as well, it may seem simple, but they are many variations you can use. I'm not a fan of every artist but the one's that sound good to me i listen to.
There's some lyrical artists too but the popular music is party/subwoofer music. Intellectualism/back pack rap does not make as much money in the bay as it will in NY

I never liked Slimmy B before all that much, but he comes out with more lyrical potency than the other 3 guys. His bars just flow better and his punchlines don't come off as wack
