A lot of black men don’t try to manage their diabetes until it’s too late. That other leg looks about done for.
I thought he was wearing a sock on the other leg

Even after seeing what happened do you still feel you can eat what you want as long as you exercise?
Diabetes runs in my family and i am addicted to pizza, burgers, fries, potato chips, etc. As long as i exercise i can eat those foods?
Everything in moderation.
I eat what I want and I exercise. I do an intense work out every other day and I do cardio on the days that I don't work out.
Eating some Popeye's right now.
Just got diagnosed 2 months ago the same day Wilford Brimley died, taking my insulin as prescribed every day my sugar levels seem to be consistently normal now. Now that the gyms are back open I'm back to my normal routine before the rona fukked everything up.
Switched up my diet even further no juices whatsoever not even a post workout gatorade or body armor simply non sugar flavored water or favored seltzer water some of them taste good.
I haven't had a drink since before I went in the hospital I still got a half a bottle of Goose in the fridge for about 3 months. No coffee only tea with a sweetener. I'm back to eating whole unsalted almonds and cashews for a snack again just a handful a day.
It’s one of the most manageable diseases, my grandmother has had diabetes since she was in her 20s. She’s about to be 82 in October. Has all her limbs, vision, only takes a daily pill for it.Diabetes is a slow killer, and everyone is at risk, especially those who have it in their family...one of the most physically and mentally taxing diseases out there, and when someone has it at an older age like that and the constant doses, pinprick tests, and fight to keep your sugar cravings low get unbearable, it's very sad to see it happen.

It’s all about diet + keeping active, she’s stayed slender for most of her life also.
He's also 100% blind?
