Also say I make $100k this year from working a job. Why should I pay more taxes than a cat that made $100k income from their investments???? We are still both making the same income. Just I'm working for it and they are not.
Who cares?
I don't see anything wrong, he just showed that he is wealthy, makes most of his earnings in 2011 from investments and is very charitable with his earning.
Not Surprising
The real question is why is he showing it this late in the campaign game. He took a lot of heat from the summer for something according to his tax returns is not a big deal.
HE IS WEALTHY, SO WAS George W. Bush. big deal. Jesus, he is like the worst politician ever and whoever is running his campaign is an idiot.
Wat people will remember is that he wouldn't show his tax returns not that he showed it in September when they are making their decision in November.
Who cares?
Can somebody explain why the hell y'all got such low taxes for rich people? Or people in general for that matter.. Why the hell are low taxes so freaking important for americans? shyt is status for me.
Over here you pay around 30 % taxes on everything you make and if you make over ~4000 dollars a month you pay an additional 20 % in taxes for the amount you make over it..
our walfare system is
I would think taxing off income from investments wouldn't be as high as a normal form of income.
Gotta love it when a cat worth 9 figures pays a lower percentage in income taxes than me, who only makes 5 figures
Quick fact though:
Romney didn't make the tax laws, nor does he control them at all. Is he supposed to voluntarily pay more taxes or something? Let's be reality here.
fukk taxes man..
As a sales person if i make 100k and a dentist makes 100k he'll take more home than me because sales people commisioned sales are taxed at 36-42%
Why??? We all should get taxed the same, why do us sales people get taxed so heavy
*makes $6000 in commission*
*sees $3200 of it*
Whats even more fukked up, if our HOURLY (regular taxed 16-21%) check falls on the same pay period as our commission check then we just get taxed 36-42% across the board
We raise the capital gains tax we get rid of the deficit.
lol @ Romney. dude seems like a smug as hell.
