Also say I make $100k this year from working a job. Why should I pay more taxes than a cat that made $100k income from their investments???? We are still both making the same income. Just I'm working for it and they are not.

I don't see anything wrong, he just showed that he is wealthy, makes most of his earnings in 2011 from investments and is very charitable with his earning.

The real question is why is he showing it this late in the campaign game. He took a lot of heat from the summer for something according to his tax returns is not a big deal.
HE IS WEALTHY, SO WAS George W. Bush. big deal. Jesus, he is like the worst politician ever and whoever is running his campaign is an idiot.
Wat people will remember is that he wouldn't show his tax returns not that he showed it in September when they are making their decision in November.
Well, he was always going to release his 2011 tax returns. What he said was that he won't release is any tax returns before 2010, which he still won't.
Some people think he used loopholes to pay a very low tax rate for those years, but we'll probably never know.

Over here you pay around 30 % taxes on everything you make and if you make over ~4000 dollars a month you pay an additional 20 % in taxes for the amount you make over it..

I would think taxing off income from investments wouldn't be as high as a normal form of income.
It should be more than the regular tax rate.

As a sales person if i make 100k and a dentist makes 100k he'll take more home than me because sales people commisioned sales are taxed at 36-42%

Whats even more fukked up, if our HOURLY (regular taxed 16-21%) check falls on the same pay period as our commission check then we just get taxed 36-42% across the board

Yall do get taxed the same.
It's just that supplemtary income(bonus, commission) is taxed at 25%.
If you get the supplemtary income in the same check as your normal pay. Your withholdings and state taxes are taken out of the total( which will put you in a higher bracket)

If u are such a supporter, why didn't he enlist? I don't see that any of his sons enlisted either in the military. Sarah Palin was a moron, but at least she has a kid overseas if she's gonna be pro war.
