Breh denial is not just a river in Egypt...I'm a Holyfield stan....i reasoned ruiz, byrd, and toney losses as at least they were to "top" fighters...the loss to a nikka known more for catching a bare knuckles 2 piece by bowe than any of his wins..that did itIt took you all the way up until the Donald fight to convince you Holy was on the slide?

at the time i didnt hate ruiz jsut disliked watching him...that didnt happen until the kirk johnson fight..thats where the ruiz hate ramped up lol...don was on some bullshyt trying to push that motherfukker but thought it was just a style clash..and i thought holyfield won that 3rd ruiz fight clear...and he looked good beating rahman after..so denial tony..and im sticking with it lol

The Chris Bryd fight was right there! That's what makes this shyt fukking stupid. Jones had the WBA title. Byrd had the IBF.
Nygga, you had a unification fight, at the heavyweight division, against a smaller light punching heavyweight. What more could you ask for? It was THE perfect fight.
If he would have just went to heavy, won the WBA, & won a unification matched for the IBF and bowed out it would have been perfect.
Lennox had the WBC. No one really looked at that as a realistic fight Roy would actually take.
There where rumors of a unification fight against Corrie Sanders, the WBO champion at the time. I didn't like that fight for Jones at ALL, and this before I knew about Jones' chin issues. Corrie was known as a lazy hot and cold fighter, but if you watched him fight back then, you could really see glimpses of his talent. He would have been highly motivated for a Jones fight, just like he was for both Klitchko fights.

He's prolly somewhere in the 30 range or some shyt, but I dont' have time to seriously evaluate his career to the point where Im accurately ranking him in ATG lists. That takes time and just randomly saying he's top 10 or some shyt is disrespecting all the greats that came before Roy. There lots of things that have to be considered when making ATG lists.
Boxing has a long storied history filled with awesome fighters. Just to be mentioned in the top 50 is a blessing in itself. Me saying he top 50 all time covers that shyt. It's like a ballpark figure. You acting like I said he top 500 or some shyt.
