How is the UPK a joke ? My son just graduated pre school and thank God for the city's upk program. My son has selective mutism, because of the city's UPK program he got PT, OT, and speech for free. I've watched my son finally open up and talk to children, all because of the UPK program. You sound like the lifelong long Islanders I work with that try and tell me the city is worse than ever.

I'm glad your son benefitted but Early Intervention services been around for a long time be Diblasiho and his UPK. You could have gotten services when he was a baby if you called 311 and asked

Miss me with that fake ass long islander rhetoric. I'm all the way uptown where we don't get shyt. Where I live, the options are limited (two actual schools, not daycares) and crowded. I still would have had to pay for after-school since "full-day" was ending at 12:30 or 2. The teachers were either 21 year old cac's or looked like recovering fiends. We had to go to Mount Vernon to find a school that fit our needs.

But carry-on with the narrative that I must be cac/import because I'm not caping for this trash ass mayor.
