So what will it take for people to FINALLY stand up to government corruption/incompetence?

maybe a war that makes a draft happen...other than that, probably nothing. just isnt gonna happen.

what exactly do you think people would do if a draft was instituted? what would our reaction be as a society iyo

only chance of really significant change is if the military industrial complex and/or fbi/cia/nsa turns on the politicians but that is unlikely since the politicians will always be in bed with them.

the military industrial complex/cia/fbi/nsa wont turn on the politicians because they OWN the politicians and control them. you dont kill the golden goose laying the eggs.

get used to how things are goin...

:stopitslime:

It'll never happen.....people are too comfortable with buying their new car every 4-5 years, buying a new TV every few years, going out to eat every weekend, etc........and to be honest, you can't blame them. The govt is gonna do what they're gonna do and the rich will continue to cheat/get richer.
No need to worry about what you can't control. I watched like 2 mins of news coverage on this gvt shutdown and turned the TV off partly in disgust, partly in apathy.

so what would it take for YOU jadillac physically to take action against this social order? are you saying it would take you being taken out of your physical comforts? so like, what if hypothetically you saw reports that the national guard was moving through your neighborhood detaining and arresting people in mass? what would you do then?

Why don't you be the one to set it off bruh? We'll follow...I promise.

what does "set it off" entail in your mind, lol please do tell

if we could all just unite against the zionists we would'nt have these problems. they are the ones behind all the confusion and distractions...

what does "unite" look like?

and why do you think all roads lead back to the zionists iyo?

Nothing. The revolutionary spirit the people of this country has been pushed to online communities where they can be easily monitored. The get out and do something spirit has been neutered and there is nothing we can do about it

so again i ask, what would it take YOU, Lucky Lefty to take physical action in an effort to reform society?

@LeyeT - what would I do? What could I do? Ultimately, if the govt/army/police, etc are coming thru my area detaining ppl what could I do?

Now if they harmed/messed with my family, I'm just gonna go out shooting and take out whoever I can take out. LOL

But......that won't solve anything b/c I'm gonna get killed and nothing will change.

Uncertain grounds

depends. i dont even know if that would change anything. i was merely postulating that it was possible that that could finally cause unrest to the point of substantially changing things, specifically if the public was 75% or greater against it...protests, mass emigration, impeachments?..more likely itd be much ado about nothing because the power structure is so firmly in place.

the military industrial complex/cia/fbi/nsa wont turn on the politicians because they OWN the politicians and control them. you dont kill the golden goose laying the eggs.

i was alluding to that, by saying the politicians were in bed with them. as i see it, the only substantial change that could possibly happen would have to be from infighting amongst the power holders, not from a masses vs power holders situation.

you see what happens when corruption gets exposed...all the leaks and whistle blowing leads to smear campaigns and allegations of treason. youre gonna simply have to get used to how things are and how things are going to be. any agents of significant structural change get dealt with. everything else is superficial and irrelevant to the PTB and their stakeholders. i dont like it but thats just how it is.

A natural disaster or crisis bigger than Katrina; clean water shortage, manhattan getting hit by a category a category 4 hurricane.

why do you think this would lead to people standing up to government corruption?

Could have happened in 2008 if we had real leadership that had no ties to big business.

We should have let all those institutions fail and the economy slump into a depression. That would have reminded people what greed and corruption is capable of.

Instead, we put a band-aid on it and continued doing the same thing.

We'll have to wait until the next time the consequences of greed cannot be contained by the greedy. Hopefully we'll have people in power that understand that short term suffering is worth long term progress.

So we should of let a depression happen just to teach a lesson? I tell you man, you people act smart dumb. :snoop:

It's not about teaching any lessons c*nt, it's about exposing what is really going on. Almost nothing changed from pre Recession corruption. Companies are still making record profits. 97% of new jobs are part time Jobs. Corporations are being given exemptions to ACA. The attorney general gets on TV and essentially says that these entities cannot be prosecuted because they are too large. The Justice Department was working at the behest of banks to stomp occupy protests.

All this is happening under a Democrat led Senate and White House.

You actually think issues were fixed? All that happened was our generation passed it on to the next. It will come crashing down eventually and no amount of bailouts and/or transfer of wealth from the public to private will suffice.

fukk you bytch, that's not a good enough reason to keep millions of people out of jobs, people like you who underestimate the power of a depression should not talk politics. It's reckless as fukk and ignorant.
