Dawg… pia reminds me on some ugly rugrats character. I was trying to find a pic to post on Twitter. If this was on HBO there would be at least a 20-30 page thread on it by now. Yeah the acting was suspect at times, they needed at least one big name besides Vinny Chase(who was excellent btw), and Pia was hideous inside and out but this was done really well from start to finish. It was a little ambitious with going from character to character but they pulled it off and I enjoyed the ending. The series was kinda sad really.
And I might as well take it there as I'm putting this slightly above Mare Of Easttown. Mare was great and I enjoyed that as well with Kate Winslet, the shots and feel of the town, and twists but they went a little too overboard with the families being wayyyyy too f*cked up for the sake of drama.. And the "turn in your badge" but the cop still works the case and ultimately solves it in the end has been done to death. Both are stellar and you can't go wrong with either one but it seems like cats are trying their hardest to not acknowledge Clickbait

Lmaooooo exactly
HBO isn't putting out products with bad acting. At least not products that folks talk about. If this was on HBO there would be at least a 20-30 page thread on it by now. I got HBOMax and I enjoy it but their same time theater and streaming releases outside of Black Messiah have been Clickbait has a few questionable scenes acting wise but not enough to put it in the bad acting category and dismiss it altogether.HBO isn't putting out products with bad acting.
