Gipson is contemplating retirement, I guess. If he retires then the Niners probably try and resign Jimmy Ward. If Gipson decides to play another year the Niners need to invest in safeties this draft. Get at least 2.

Ward doesn't want to play nickel. If we can get Moseley back and if he's at 80% or better of his self we're set at outside corner. Between Womack and Lenoir there's some concerns about playing slot but should be fine. Moseley considering injury can take another friendly team deal.

FS is probably a priority if Ward walks unless Gipson stays one more year.

I don't think fo is prepared to address drafting both corner and FS high in the same offseason. So I expect them to resign one of three guys (Jimmie, Gipson, Moseley)

No they need to leave Ward the hell alone. Let that mediocre bum play else where.

I’d pay Bosa, accept Aiyuk’s 5th option and decline Kinlaw’s, then I’d bring back Brendel/Brunskill/Moseley/Omenihu/Gipson. If Gipson retires, I’d bring Jimmie Ward back instead. But I can’t justify paying McGlinchey $15M+ a year to be such a big liability in pass pro, so he's gotta go

He's a known commodity. He's had minor injuries up to this point. You can sign him probably for cheap (unless the Texans or Jets pay more) on a short deal. There's no downside to keeping him.

As far as Ward, if Gipson retires I wouldn't be opposed to him coming back. I'm not sure if the FA safeties that are out there, but we could always look for a short term fix while drafting a player.

Well the good thing is Ward felt insulted that the Niners wanted to bring him back at the nickel salary. So I doubt he'll comeback. That's good thing.
RT and Center maybe troublesome to find but then again when June 1st cuts happen probably can get a decent one then

If Moseley can get a big pay day he won't be here regardless. I wouldn't give him big money. He's been injured a lot.

Which brings me to something I alluded to a few weeks back, but then stopped short of saying just so we can see how the season played out and didn’t wanna acknowledge this bad jinx.

Like I never really got into too many big details, but the last half of the year I was going through some shyt as I had a few personal tragedies. 3 people in my life died, as well as some other tragic family shyt we still dealing with. (Gun violence type shyt)

One of the deaths was my last remaining grandmother. She died on Christmas Eve 12/24, around 3am in the morning. Now the eerie thing about that was my other grandmother died on CHRISTMAS 12/25 (around like 1:30am), the same year Kaep and the team went to the SB and we played the Ravens.

Not saying it was an omen or anything. But mentally for me when already dealing with it, it’s like “damn this is familiar in a bad way.” Cuz both teams felt like teams of DESTINY that was gonna go all the way.

There are a lot of toxic forums in here (or mainly just one). But I appreciate unbeknownst to y’all, y’all help/helping me get through it all.

Man it's crazy to think how fragile human life is. Family and life are bigger than football or these forum. Real talk man, I hope you were able to and still are able to cope with people close to you being gone
