I'll take my chances on him being more productive than Alex at this point. As far as the rest of the changes..just a combination of the binder and Joe throwing shyt at the wall and hoping it sticks. I don't necessarily agree but I understand his reasoning.

This looks tacky as hell when the whole team isn't hitting and you keep scapegoating him . The manager threw him under the bus when Arod said he was working on his wrist girardi said no Arods healthy implying he's finished. The binder made no defense of Arod at all while defending swisher and grandy and cano. The guy hit 4-7 this season with 2 hr off verlander and now he gets benched .

I'm glad to see Swisher finally got benched. Whether Gardner does anything remains to be seen, but something had to be done. Maybe this is a reality check for Swisher and it can help him turn it around
