I spent a lot of time typing this out so please don't put it there to rot and flop. 
Ok so I don't remember everything that happened but it was a pretty interesting discussion with all these different people discussing this. People started crying and cuss words started flying out too.
Professor is white btw.
Anyways we started class out with this video
Ok so here are some bullet points of things that were said
-Professor said white supremacy does exist and we got into the discussion about the boy buying the $350 dollar belt at Barney.
-Older German lady also said that we should don't often look at racism in the reverse way (Blacks racism to whites)
-Asian boy and black girl raises hand and both says something about it not being the same because whites run the government and racism wouldn't affect them the same way as it affects minorities.
-A white girl raises her hand and says that's suppression not racism.
-A black girl raises her hand and says that racism is a form of suppression.
-Asian boy raises his hand again to continue the point again about racism affecting white. He says something like calling a white person cracker doesn't really affect them.
-About 2-3 white girls start saying he's wrong/that's wrong.
-Jewish chick says she experiences racism everyday for example her not being able to hang out with certain groups of white people because of her being Jewish.
-White girl says that racism in America isn't as serious as it is in other countries.
-Black girl laughs at her and says that's completely wrong.
-Older German lady cuts in and talks about it as well how she'd have people calling her Nazi and her having to defend herself from the stuff that her ancestors did. Calls them "a$$holes" for what they did but what they did shouldn't be put on her.
-German lady says she was born dirt poor and had to work her way up the ladder to get where she was.
-Black girl jumps in and says her mother told her that black people have to work twice as hard to get to the same position of a white person.
-Gay white kid comes in and gives a couple examples of him experiencing racism.
-His first example was him losing his wallet. He talks about how he was in the bank and he had a Jewish last name (Wolfe). They asked him if he was Jewish and he said no. Then they said he said his last name was Wolfe so how could he not be Jewish. Well he says he had to start filling out documents and the lady had to call the manager down and some other stuff I didn't remember.
-His 2nd example from what I remember he was in some office in Jamaica with his mother and he was in line with about 180 other people in a lobby. The lady at the desk calls him up and tells him "A pretty white boy like you shouldn't be waiting in line like this"
he said everyone in the lobby started looking at him and he insisted to the lady at the desk that he would wait. 
-Asian girl comes in and says she feels that racism to asians isn't as exposed as others. But the stereotypes towards asians are positive for example them being smart. Then teacher said there are other negative stereotypes about asians, and class starts laughing.
-Says she walked into a store and a black man walked right in after her. They both went to the back and security went in and followed the black man. Said while they were following him she could have easily stole something and they wouldn't have suspected anything.
-Thai girl says that while in class teacher asks a question about seeing a group of black or hispanic males walking down the street would you cross the street. Thai girl she said she was the only girl in the class that wouldn't have crossed.
-Another black chick comes in and starts to cry when should told her story about how her parents told her not to trust white people and when she used to go over her white friends house their parents would ask their kids "What is she doing here?" She started crying even more saying how she wishes everyone could just look past race.
-Another kid talks about how he got his ears pierced recently and his step mother (who is black) told him he shouldn't have done it because whites would look at him differently. Kid starts crying in class because it hurt him that his mom would say something like that.
-Black kid says there's also racism in the black community. Says that girls wouldn't date him because he was "too dark."
-German lady says something that we should start to look past race because we are all humans.
-Professor says we can't do that because it would be ignoring all the racism that goes on. (I can't remember exactly what she said.) She then says that studies have shown that that in itself is a form of racism because it's basically pushing aside all the racism that went on and looking at is as unimportant. (Dammit I can't remember what she said exactly so please forgive me.)
-German lady keeps shaking her head as the professor says this and then starts to cry saying it's fukked up to think that her saying we should look past race is a form of racism.
shyt got a little intense right afterwards but class ended so we had to cut the discussion short.
