so it went from "he wasnt on any p4p lists going into that fight" to you backpedaling and offering up lame excuses for why you are wrong. gotcha. hows this. show me a link from late 2009 up to the floyd fight that doesnt have mosely top 5 p4p. ill save you the time. you cant find one, because he was UNIVERSALLY regarded one of the worlds finest fighters at that time

Aight so Roy Jones as the slight underdog beats a p4p #1 ranked Toney while in his prime regardless of how serious TOney took his training (that's on him) and out classess him and even drops dude and it's a lop-sided win

now you mean to tell me Floyd's fight with Shane fight is a bigger victory than that.

If that's the case when Forrest beat Shane ya'll must of thought it was Tyson/Douglas or some shyt.

it wasnt his prime if he wasnt in shape.:ld:

and toney took training serious. Losing over 40 pounds in 6 weeks is serious training.

Problem of course is that he was 40 lbs overweight before training which messed everything up else.

How can I lose credibility when the whole post was a hypothetical theory.. meaning its simply unprovable.. If you take away the weight difference, Prime Floyd vs Prime Mike is the hardest fight of both their careers.

cmon dog take away the weight difference?
that shyt is impossible

:what:

The fukk you talkin bout?? impossible???

What so hard to comprehend about a hypothetical match up between two people if they stayed around the same weight?? Im only talking about skill set vs skill set...

Your height/weight/reach effects how you learn and are trained to fight.
I could see what your saying if you are talking about 2 fighters within a couple of weight classes of each other because you can get a somewhat
accurate idea of how they would fight but a difference of 5-6 weight classes is just too great to get a realistic idea of what would happen in a fight.

You guys are killing me acting like you couldn't imagine Floyd fighting Roy in the same weight class.. We know how both fighters fight.. They've fought the same way throughout their career and weight classes.... Are you implying that Roy wouldn't fight the unique style he's known for if he weighed 154lbs?? Would his speed be diminished at 154?? Would he not still have his amazing footwork at 154?? Will he lose the ability to not get hit at 154?? Then you have KO power.. With Roy's speed he'd definitely win in that department as well ..Hell Roy's fighting style would be PERFECT for Welter/Jr. Middleweight

i don't think people realize just how unbelievable roy jones was. he should have retired after the Ruiz fight, we'd be calling him "the greatest ever" right now.

I believe that people just cant accept the idea of Mayweather being outclassed by anyone... But deep down you all know the truth of what would happen if those 2 could have ever faced each other.. Floyd told you all he was better thzn Ali, Leonard, and Tyson,,, and you believed him... Just like you believe everything else that comes out his mouth... Even though he hasn't fought an all time great or fighter anywhere near the level of any of the above mentioned
