Braxton hasn't been talked about as a serious candidate since the Purdue game. People are saying Manziel or Teo for Heisman, which I think is ridiculous.

personally, I think the Te'o hype is more because the media are shocked that a freshman is the favorite so they are looking for someone else.

Could be. But I think t majority of it has to do with wanting to put a Notre Dame player in there. I'm watching the USC game and he was barely noticeable except for the telecast mentioning him every 3 plays. Then he gets an interception thrown to him and it's "Hey there goes Manti dominating again."
Like I said, he's good. But like the other poster said, if a player like Suh didn't win when he was arguably the most dominant collegiate d-lineman in I don't know how long, then Te'o isn't the one. Give him the Nagurski award and All American status, but not a Heisman.

tbh, this year looks like it will be the weakest heisman winner in some time.

Might be the case, but none of that equates to best player in country though. RGIII and Tebow both had three losses the season when they won, so A&M not being undefeated or in the BCS title hunt shouldnt be held against Manziel

Jarvis Jones is the best defensive player in the nation & isn't getting any hype so I sort of agree. But Teo has played well enough to get the invite to NYC so I sort of disagree too
