He definitely has that frat boy, douchebag appeal to him, and most of them get off on crude and pathetic racial jokes.

Here is the video:

Definitely emasculating as a man.

That was it?

are white ppl just NOT allowed to impersonate black ppl at any cost?

Sure as long as the person making the jokes understands the difference between "with us" and "at us". There's nothing in the history of the E that suggests they do, so they get no passes or benefit of the doubt from me when they do egregious shyt like Cryme Time, the WM Booker T angle or even New Day.

come on don't go there. that's not what i mean.

i understand the ignorance and bigotry that's associated with the history of blackface. i just don't think it applies to what DX was doin.

There is a extremely negative history in America with whites making fun of Blacks. They used to do plays where whites would dress up in blackface, eat bananas, dance, etc so as a result a lot of us have a short fuse when it comes to this type of stuff

Just the way it is.

Based on Triple H's history and his reputation, there were racist undertones to the segment. Especially when you think back to the infamous pre-Wrestlemania promo he did about Booker T talking about his "nappy hair" and how wrestlers like him were just good for dancing and amusement.

true but was this really "blackface"?

I mean it's not like they went out there in full makeup and put on the bright red lips. the intent of the skit was not to make light of the fact that they were black. the intent was just to imitate them, that's all.

at least that's how I see it. actually I think that's probly how most ppl saw it. I am not denying the stereotype and prejudice that exists within the higher WWE brass... but as an isolated incident this skit felt like it was just in pure fun. road dogg and x pac especially don't come off like racists to me.

but hey, who knows.

C'mon. You can't look at X-Pac and tell me that isn't offensive. I'm sure if the camera panned to ONE black person in the crowd, you wouldn't witness the reaction of "oh, these guys are just having fun".

We all know that wasn't the first time Book got punked by HHH

if I'm not mistaken isn't this the reason Sting said he didn't sign with WWE years ago? which is why I believe that Sting vs. HHH is set up in the first place to try to make some sorta of mends of the situation, and put Sting over at WM...... or it could be just me thinking too hard.
