Damn I thought this was going to be a movie about getting your certs up
I was looking forward for Cary vision of the book. No offense but "It" is an book that cannot be watered down at all for adaption. Im actually reading this book over again at the moment and its fukking dope. I mean new line trying to be cheap with the budget because an wack ass remake that did not perform well. Nobody wanted to see that shyt anyway Cary's adaption was gonna put horror back on the map.
I mean..it's crazy. It's the same reason studios were hesitant to greenlight a female superhero movie because of Elektra and Catwoman. So they were nervous about it working out. Same reason it took 5 years after Batman and Robin to do a big superhero adaptation because they were scared and hesitant and felt like "well, they didn't like this so the audience won't like superheroes"

But can you blame them Marty??
I mean CATWOMAN to would have made "JESUS CHRIST" himself lose faith in another feature film about a female superhero...
even the TRALER to CATWOMAN was horrendous....
Yeah I can blame them cause it's stupid thinking. By that logic I shouldn't drive my car because of car accidents. None of us should use computers because of viruses.

man trust me on this....cause I know media marketing....a lot of it isn't based on "Scientific Data"....usually it's just the gut feeling driving by emotion and superstition when it comes to marketing movies , music and television..
stupid yes....pseudo science yes....but they CALL THE SHOTS...CAUSE THEY GOT THE GUAP ($$$)......
I personally think sinister is scarier than the conjuring and insidious. They showing too much in the trailer for insidious 3 tho. Conjuring was pretty dope
Night Shift and Skeleton Crew are neck and neck to me. Night Shift maybe a bit more I had read it back in like 5th grade after my older cousin left the book at my house. The Boogeyman Man was my favorite story. I never saw that Boogeyman adaptation at least I don't think I have.
the reason is silly, but i kinda am glad a remake is dying
