I think it’s just a cultural thing. That’s what they’re use to so that’s the standard going back centuries. Their breakfast is baked beans, toast and a egg. That’s why when any basic American fast food opens their the lines wrap around the building. They were going crazy over Popeyes and give guys

No such typical breakfast. I think a lot of Americans are quite ignorant to other foods in the world. There is no typical English breakfast. You can range from porridge, to toast, eggy bread, boiled egg, etc.

And a lot of people expose themselves in these threads. If you’ve travelled and eating regularly at fast food joint, then save more and eat at proper restaurants. British cuisine is very good when you avoid fast food or food people cook at home

Best fish and chips I've had in recent years was from a Chinese joint. The batter was crispy, the chips were crispy, the fish didn't have skin on skin on it (who thinks this is acceptable ).
