and they’ve probably made multiple offers before saying fukk it and settled for this current arraignment.

Marvel could kill off Tom Holland, Sony could recast and still make a lot of money.

its in both best interest to work things out, the tug of war may lower spider-man's value as a property to the audience if they keep recasting/rebooting things ... people never thought star wars as a franchise could take Ls, but we saw how they turned out

plus i think most fans now have the expectation of spidey in MCU moving forward

Yeah so Sony might push this movie back

This guy has been leaking Loki and other movie trailers with a good success rate. Before this he was saying you would see the trailer before august now he’s saying they’re not releasing it next week and is implying they’ll push the release to next year

this guy is wrong more than right breh lol, he’s constantly being shyt on for being unreliable, not saying he’s wrong here, but I’d take it with a grain of salt

Sony will never sell spiderman. Its the only franchise beside jumanji that makes them real money for their american movie studio.

Second with multinational companies they don't sell a brand to another company outright. But they will spin off a division or sell a division (sort of like what UTC did with sikorsky when lockheed bought it).

So for this example most likely the only way Marvel gets spidey back is Sony sells the American Sony/columbis movie division and Disney buys it.

What's in Disney's favor is like amazon and walmart they got more money than god himself. So it's more likely over the next 50 years that Sony will be more hard up for money and need to sell something than Disney will.

Last as you can see over the last 50 years in visual tv / movie media there has been constant consolidation with Viacom, Comcast and Disney basically owning damn near 80% of everything.

Expect that percentage to increase in the coming decades.
