He dropped a trap album as a mixtape that still get play and a album with a soulful sound thats like a movie from start to finish..all in one year..I aint heard nobody say GFID was wack just as good if not better than DTR..

I mean are we going to ignore the FACT that Ross not only outsold Nas, but also Usher and Chris Brown so his sells aren't that bad. Ross just doesn't have that pop audience u need to push major records which is cool because his audience is not pop. When u target black ppl as ur primary demographic ur ceiling is only gonna be but so high......i mean we're only like what 17% of the U.S. population.

I think Ross knows this, but he also knows that he can recoup with show money and endorsements which shyts on record sale money. I say keep it black, go gold each release, and make ur music work for u in other ways besides record sales. Ross is proving u dont have to sell out to sell a decent amount of records and be profitable in this industry
