I somewhat agree. but I was thinking about this the other day.

We all watched those when we were younger right? I mean I haven't seen those movies in a long time.

I don't think its so much that Sandler hasn't been funny since then I just think that We have all OUT GROWN That type of comedy and his comedy's haven't grown up with us.

however, get that 13-14 yr old kid now and let him watch those movies and they would probably laugh the way we did.

Not a Sandler fan but are people just straight up ignoring the $49 million worldwide gross? Domestic grosses are always important but all studios really care about is making a profit on the film.

Adam Sandler and Kevin James are using the same playbook. Even their shyttiest movies are designed to churn a profit over the long haul. Even if it tanks and gets 3/10 stars from critics, it'll be on cable for years. And, those dudes produce their own crap so they're taking a cut off the top and getting paid either way.

But he still gon eat, his next movie is the sequel to Hotel Transylvania.
