She said that and then it was corrected by a producer on the movie breh. She said that it's not based on a single comic and it was taken out of context and Simon Kinberg said it's not based on one single issue of the comics, which I have no issue with. Fanboys are going to get upset at any and everything and will always take things out of context and will always be a cowardly and superstitious lot.

Well they were struggling back in the day breh. They ran their comic business into the ground and declared bankruptcy and needed to stay afloat, so they sold off their properties to film studios. Fox got the x men, daredevil, FF and a few others. I think new line got Iron Man initially and Canon got Spider-Man when Cameron was going to make the movie

I didn't get that new info who knows how it will do. I am still weary of a Grimm and Gritty FF movie though.
I don't think it'll be grimm and gritty just a more realistic tone. I'm with you tho if they try to Batman it, that's a bad move and not the direction it needs to go but it doesn't need to be as silly as the first two either. There should be a nice balance and they need to use the talent of the actors they have on board because the FF and Doom are all being played by top notch talent. If they can find a balance between serious and fun, then they'll have a winner

Are yall really crying about no new X-Men villains/characters or whatever? Have they created a new villain that anyone likes in the past 20 years? All the fans want is new stories involving already existing characters.
I'm just arguing on principle breh that's all. Who's to know what dope creation is percolating in the mind of a creator and now their hands are tied that's all
But that's the thing breh it won't lol. There are 50 years of comics they can draw from for any story or character they want, this is just the CEO's hubris and relying on that thinking that both companies, DC and Marvel, still base decisions off of: the movies will help the sell of the comics and the comics will help the sell of the movies..that shyt doesn't exist and they refuse to acknowledge it. If anything this is just going to make Fox go harder
