Why would Fox even need to use any of the new X-Men characters, its about a 500 of them mufukkas already.

I'm not looking at it from that perspective I'm looking at it from a fan of the comic and as a writer. You're handcuffing me for your own sake and now you're telling a fan that because of this shyt going on in Burbank, the Midtown NY office can't do anything about it

Yeah he can breh lol. As the CEO of Marvel period, he can decide not to produce a comic anymore, it has nothing to do with the quality of films, don't fool yourself into thinking he's being altruistic and doing this for the fans. It's out of spite that's all. There's bad blood between the studios and this guy isn't the typical CEO..he's frugal to a tee for one, he's eccentric, and spiteful, there are plenty of articles written about this cat. It's not a business move made for business it's personal and that's my issue with it. If it was on some shyt of "well we don't like what they're doing" that's one thing but that's not his beef...his beef is, they have our properties so I'm going to throw a tantrum. Don't be mad at a company for having properties that your company sold them. The FF and the X Men don't belong to Marvel Studios anymore, they haven't for 20 years. Don't be mad about that shyt so you punish the fans of the comics, that's not cool. Fox isn't going to suffer from Marvel Comics not making FF anymore, but the fans will. X Men won't suffer from them not making new X characters, the fans will. I have an issue with that

I am not a fan of FF so this does not hurt me but I have feeling as pure business standpoint if he is canceling FF for this reason you know as well as I do that it will not be for long. He is having a pissing contest with Fox and if FF were in a better position then he could not do that sad to say.

So people who make movies have more of a right to do what they want with the characters then the creators. If Marvel wants to cancel FF which is there right shouldn't they be allowed to do it. They are killing wolverine one of there most popular characters should they not be doing that I mean according to your logic. :sas2:
:mindblown:

The ONLY reason marvel is doing this is because of fox.

Fox isnt making ff and x men movies to keep them away from marvel. Theyre doing it to make money.

Marvel has the right to do whatever they want thats not the point.

The point is marvel is spitting on their own fans in a reactionary childish manner just to try to spite fox.

Its pathetic. And this is the company that fans have deluded themselves into thinking do it for them.

Marvel stans have been attempting to paint fox and sony as villains just for creating films they own the rights to.

Marvel is petty as fukk. How you can defend this is mind boggling.

Well it's not only canceling FF he's also not allowing any merchandise to be created. The characters will still be around we all know that

.

And that's ultimately my problem. It's a company being just as petty and childish as any other company and yet the shyt is ok meanwhile how dare the other studios make movies with the properties they rightfully own? No one forced Marvel to sell these properties back in the day, no one put a gun to them and stole them, they willingly sold them in order to stay afloat and it's all legal. Now regardless of what people on the internet think, how do we know that Josh Trank and his cast don't have a passion for what they did on the movie and aren't going to come out with something dope? It could be wack of course but it could also be dope. Matthew Vaughn has his name attached to it also so give it a shot before writing it off just because

I have no illusions that marvel is a business that is all about making money. With that said I highly doubt FF will be canceled for long and this seems like a spiteful move to fukk with fox and the movie. This does not hurt fans in any way long term nore does it hurt writers and artist who have tons of restraints when they are working on books anyway.

Well the way the rumors have been floating behind the scenes tho this is supposed to be a permanent thing. Not like the death of wolverine or the death of Peter Parker where we all know its just a story trope or a trick to sell books. You may be right but my gut tells me otherwise

I am sure they have passion for there project but it is nothing like the FF we know. which as a comic book fan is an insult.

I don't think so. It's taking more inspiration from Ultimate FF, which is a comic and canon. And johnny being black, I'm all for it. I don't mind doing anything different as far as adaptation as long as the characters are true to the books, that is the true insult when they're not. There's nothing in Johnny's character that says he has to be white; race isn't key to that character, being brash, being arrogant, being a hothead is. The Marvel universe on film takes more cues from the ultimate universe than the 616 universe and no one complains about that

As far as comics go all they got are the die hard fans who go into shops and buy books. Alot of FF fans are the older dudes who do just that. Within a few months they will be enough complaints and then they will get a new #1.

in the meantime buy that FF merc for cheap now all that shyt about to jump in price. :ohlawd:

people want what they can't have.

I am just going off the rumor that it will be FF in name only. I have no problems with a black johnny storm.

Insanity. Doom ain't going nowhere. And screwing with the X line could lead to an unheard of backlash.
