Let me be honest with you bruh, you are fukked in a way. You and I both know police tag everybody. In order to tag you they must have reasonable suspicion. And must prove that suspicion not just to stop you but to tag you. When he said you committed a traffic violation, that was his reasonable suspicion. You agreed for them to search which is something you don't do. The only thing you can argue if whether or not they charged you for the traffic violation and the suspended license. You cannot suppress the weed only because you agreed for them to search. I don't know about detroit, but I know in NJ, traffic violations are considered criminal offenses. In order for a crime to exist, there must be something called 'corpus delicti' (injured party) The state of NJ cannot be the injured party. It must be a person in its natural self breathing. Cannot be a corporation. That's how I used to get off with my traffic shyt.

Nope, didn't consent and he never asked me. I got out the car when he told me to get out, he told me I was going to jail cause of the DWLS, put me in the police car, and then searched the vehicle. I was put in a cop car that had pulled up, so they started the search in front of my job. I knew nothing about the weed until the next day. The original cop that flicked me was not who took me to the prescient. My girl was in the passenger seat, he told them to get out, and he even searched her purse which I know for sure he had no right to do. But you and I know cops do what the fukk they want to do, and if you happen to be in the wrong in any way, shape, or form, some judges will overlook the cops violation of the law.

I had property seized too. it diidnt matter i could prove everything was bought legally. after pleading guilty i had no legal recourse.

Low key this is a huge hustle for the cops. and a perfect example of the abuses of the drug war.
