Didn't watch the video yet but the song is a concept/story joint. The same as Forrest Gump COULD have been just a story or just a revelling of the Forest Gump movie but then Frank Ocean came out and said it was about his own love for another man. There's a difference between telling a story and using a story as a metaphor or allegory for your own life.
