No i think money talks more than anything. But we as fans have a right to complain or praise in whatever space we are. It's the reason we have a comics thread to talk shop on Wednesdays or the reason we have threads dedicated to movie releases on Fridays. They may not read it and its a good chance they don't, but it doesn't mean we aren't allowed to speak. And in this specific case, Marvel is well aware of the feeling fans have when it comes to x men because when writers are interviewed, they're asked. It's the reason Chris Claremont spoke up or the reason they did this PR blitz announcing x men blue and gold and what they have in mind for the x men post Inhumans vs X men, etc. Whether its on a message board or on Twitter or just an interviewer who works for IGN or Newsarama, they get the message one way or another and they respond or don't respond however they choose
