You guys really need to lay off this whole media talk. I haven't even watched tv for the past couple of days because I've been running around for the holidays.so sanchez playing awful somehow justifies tebow starting?
the broncos were one of the worst offensive teams last year, even tho they played sub .500 teams, so him running is meaningless.
u clearly never too into account that maybe, just maybe, he never earned a chance to start. rex saw it 1st hand last year, and still didn't play him. that's a warning sign.

Those of you defending him, keep in mind the coaching staff watches this dude in practice. If he doesn't look good practicing, they won't play him. They may have had the idea in mind that he would be a legit backup, but seeing this dude practice made em go "yeah let's go ahead and bring in mcelroy"

Tebow's a gamer. He's a winner. He's a leader. He's other cliches that I can't think of at the moment..
He should have gotten more snaps. I don't blame him for feeling upset about not starting and saying

He knew Sanchez was getting benched and as the #2 thought his # was gonna be called....dude basically came to NY and did everything they asked and got passed over and feels salty about it...can't say I blame him if this was true. There isn't a single person in here who would feel different under the same circumstances

Yeah, I think the mismanagement of players continues to show.
They sold the dude a line, he came in and did all the other stuff, was quiet as kept was #2 on the depth chart all year and then he's #3 once the team switches QB's.

Exactly. It's not like I'm saying I believe in Tebow as a QB but the Jets completely mismanaged the situation and sold him on the fact that he would get his touches...15 to 20 snaps type touches....what he got was punt protection and he kept quiet about it then gets passed over on the depth chart. Anyone would feel slighted by that.
All that said, I am not sure I really buy this story from "sources" 100%

It's more of the trend, the mismanagement is seen all over the team, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

It's as if you're expecting it from others because the settings differ. (Tebow isnt a captain....Tebow wasnt in Miami in the middle of a game.....so?). You expect it from no player, bottom line.
