On the national level, it's a dub. But on the local level, where we have actually majorities and can get actual Reps in, there's a real chance for that.

And I bring this up constantly to the no tangibles no vote brehs. Are you requesting any of these items from your local reps since that will actually affect you the most. They get silent and bring up another straw man argument. Some of these proposals are really good but to get adopted nationally you need proof of the concept working locally. Parts of Obamacare were literally ripped from what Romney did as the governor of Massachusetts because it worked and showed that it stabilized the market there.
