The thing that bothers me about the X-men movies is that while X-Men 1st Class was good....none of the movies are as good as the animated series from the 1990s.

It's like...the movies completely failed at doing the Sentinels or Phoenix Saga any justice.

I feel people like The Avengers because of just the premise of the film

superheroes that a lot people (outside the comic book world) didn't really care for :yeshrug:
like who really cared about Iron Man and Captain America that's in their 20's-30's?
Batman, Superman and Spiderman was all kids tv networks shoved down our throats as kids
now these marvel movies come out and everybody wants to be a comic book mark all of a sudden

my older brother (26) just came up to me talking about Ultron history and shyt and i'm like :what:

Yeah nobody cared about any of these marvel characters. X men and spiderman were the only ones, and maybe hulk. Avengers was only cool on marvel vs Capcom. What's crazy is iron man did have a cartoon in the 90s, I think hulk did too.

avengers the movie was ok... nothing special i agree. where it separates itself from the pack is the effort to put something this grandiose together and pulling it off

I watched the film right after reading the graphic novel so my expectations were probably too high. I might give another try now that I some distance from the novel.
Yeah the only way to really enjoy that movie is to not read the comic, because you'll see just how much depth is left out. I heard somewhere that Moore wrote The Watchmen in a way that shows the strengths in comics that can't be replicated on film.

It's very well made.

Predictable? Maybe, but that's not really a negative if everything else is solid.

:salute:

None of the Batman movies look good on a second viewing.

I never understood TDK's hype. I know it's Batman and Nolan but there were some flaws in this movie I can't get over. The fight scenes had terrible choreography.

2:00-2:06 :scust:

:scusthov:

This is amateurish. Bale looked like he could barely move in that suit. Everything was block, punch, elbow and slow as hell. How Batman getting that work from a pit bull :dahell:?

Avengers and Cap 2 are clearly the best comic movies to me.

Nothing wrong with those fight scenes you clown.

Iono. I thought the shyt was average at best. :yeshrug:
If we're including animated films

1. Avengers
2. Captain America: The Winter Solider
3. Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox
4. The Dark Knight
5. Iron Man
6. X-Men 2
7. X-Men: Days of Future Past
8. Spiderman 2

If we're including animated movies I don't think any live action movie would make my list.
